With the recent release of the new ATI 5800 Series graphic cards people wonder if it will fit in their current PC's due to the large size of the 5870 model. Basically the HD 5870 is 11" (inches) long when you consider the outside case and the plastic sticking out at the end, the HD 5850 is 9.5" long. This means that the average desktop tower will probably not fit the HD5870 without some modifications to it, but will fit the HD 5850 fine as is.
